Radio Frequency Engineering Manager

Electronics & Communications Engineering. Leads and motivates a large group of Engineers whose primary responsibility is to define and implement complete manufacturing processes. Provides exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders. Establishes clear measureable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (operatioanl metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals). Drives continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management. Provides exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders. Coaches Test Engineering Managers, in the interviewing/hiring process. Assesses the adequacy of data gathering methods being utilized by the Workcells. Assures that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant. Offers new ideasa and suggestions for improvement. Identifies and implements new practices and processes that are "best in field." Prepares quotes for new and potential customers. Forecasts future requirements and technical trends to drive gear suppliers in their technology roadmap. Assist Project and Design Engineers with Design for Manufacturability issues. Explores and monitors new processes and procedures to support customer's expanding requirements on cutting edge technology and product densification. Offers new ideas adn suggestions for improvement. Identifies and implements new practices and processes that are "best in field". Demonstrates a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priority. Assures that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant. Verifies reconfiguration requirements and monitors line moves. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service, anticipates, meets and exceeds expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priority. Periodically "gets down in the trenches" to rehabilitate troubled Workcells or to help during product launch. Fosters a "back to basics" mentality during these times. Establishes new measurement systems if/where possible. Recruits, interviews and hires Assistant Test Engineering Managers. Communicate criteria to recruiters for Test Engineer and Test Management position candidates.
